STATE REC CUP – State Championship for all recreational teams.
This year’s Championship event that will provide recreational teams with great competition, predetermined venues, reduced travel time for the majority of teams and an updated format crowning State Champs in 5 games over 3 days!
Round-robin games will be played the weekend of May 11-12, each team will play a minimum of 3 games. Teams advancing out of the round-robin will play their semi-final on Sunday afternoon, May 12. Championship matches will be played Saturday, May 18 – soon to be known as 'Champion's Saturday'.
New this year, State Rec Cup and President’s Cup Championship matches will be played at the same location on ‘Champion's Saturday’ - showcasing the very best of Georgia Soccer at both the recreational and mid-select levels! It will be a great day, with exciting games for players, fans and soccer lovers of all ages.
